Description of Z-Wave Motion Detector
This Z-Wave Motion Detector made by HomePro detects the movement of a person within a room using Passive Infrared (PIR). The unit will send information to a Z-Wave controller or any other associated Z-Wave device. Up to 4 devices can be associated and controlled by this device.
The Z-Wave PIR Motion Detector is powered by batteries but has a power saving feature when no movement is detected. Battery condition and status of the sensor are transmitted to the controller. Also there ish a visual warning of low battery condition.
The sensor besides being used in a security setup can also be used to activate other actions on detecting movement within a room like switching on lights or appliances.
