What is it?
The X10 Remote Control Room lighting bundle has been designed as a starter pack to give you remote control of four ceiling/wall lamp sockets.
The bayonet lamp modules plug in between the light socket and the lightbulb and allow simple, discreet control of the lamp via X10 commands.
The transceiver module is plugged into a wall socket in the house, and picks up the wireless signals from the hand-held remote control. These signals are then sent on the powerline in the form of X10 messages to switch the lights on and off
Uses
This bundle is an ideal home automation starting point, giving you wireless control of lighting in up to four rooms. By adding a computer module you can control the lamps with a PC, and you can expand your home automation set-up by adding any of the X10 products from this site.
