What happens when the alarm triggers?
- Loud (70dB) siren sounds from the SC9000
- Lamp modules that are assigned to the system switch on
- Built-in telephone auto dialer and microphone relays alarm information to up to 6 telephone or mobile phone numbers, and allows them to 'listen in' to events taking place in your home - ideal for single people at risk.
The alarm can also be triggered by pressing the two panic buttons on the keyfob supplied. This will trigger the siren and activate alarm conditions.
Additional sirens can be added in the form of the X10 Powerhorn. This is an internal siren which emits 110db of noise when triggered. You can also use a DIN rail appliance module to switch 240v sirens, or add on our X10 Exterior Alarm Kit
The Totalguard system can monitor the battery status and functionality of all the wireless sensors connected to it, and alert you if any are running low or suffering from problems.
By dialling up the system, you can control your lights and also arm and disarm the alarm system.
Should you wish to add more sensors to the system, this kit can be extended up to a maximum 30 wireless and 2 wired, plus up to 16 remote controls.
The console also includes a timer function to allow you to set up 12 timed operations of your X10 devices around your home. This allows you to give your house the lived in look, or switch on lights at the time you normally come home
