- Strips - discreet Z-Wave door & window sensor
Product Description
Strips is an innovative and discreet door and window sensor for Z-Wave systems. It's very small, and almost invisible once fitted, so there's now no need to have so many big and bulky door/window sensors installed.
Strips has a built in battery, with a life span of up to 10 years in normal use, so you don't need to worry about swapping batteries or plugging in micro-USB cables to charge your sensors.
Strips is weatherproof, so can be installed on exterior doors/windows.
Now available in packs of 3 as well as single items.
Compatible Gateways
- You may have to change Strips' notification type to make it work correctly with your gateway.
- You should also set the wake up period to 24 hours to ensure prolonged battery life of your Strips.

Great product

So different other sensors because of its blend-in- design. Battery life works great, and you can get a 3 years guarantee if you subscribe on their website!

Battery Life Poor
Posted by R on 10th Mar 2019
Purchased three of these in July 18, installed one in Oct 18 and now March 19 it is reporting 25% battery left. So much for up to 10 years!
Using on a Vera Plus network, I have already confirmed the wakeup interval is set to 24 hours and polling is switched off, as both of these can affect the battery life.
At this price you cant afford them to last barely a year.
