The Smartwares built in dimmer communicates by a secured wireless signal. This secured wireless signal passes through doors, windows, walls and ceilings. Place the dimmer in your wall or ceiling to control your lamp or device with a Smartwares remote control. Suitable for dimmable lamps up to 200 Watt.

Buzzes loudly when dimmed with LED bulbs

I used this with 8 x 5.5w Philips GU10 dimmable LED bulbs and it buzzed really loudly when dimmed, and even when on full load. In the end I just got rid of it and installed a proper wired dimmer switch.
Disappointing as it says it works with LED bulbs.
