not a bad bit of kit, bit awkward to program at first but easy once sussed. one switch works fine the other needs a few pushes before the lights come on, its as if it goes to sleep

Loverly looking unit, only critisism I have is that I brought two of these for the bathroom @ hall, especially to be used by guests and the non technical. The switches are excellent if these are the only form of switching as they toggle betwen one push on, next push off etc. but if you have additional ways of controlling such as PC based or other remotes, the single button switch may be trying to turn something off when you want it on. There is an led which light green indicating an on signal has been sent but it's only any good if the operator knows there are two states. I like it but Im a bit techy, I have had to give it a mid rating as it is not idiot proof.

Easy to activate and simple to use, though I left it on the default frequency. The instructions for changing the house code it uses to send the signal looked reasonably OK to follow, but you should note that this involves a series of presses on the button and not the usual dial selection that other X10 modules have.
It's reception range in the house is limited but this is an older brick wall property and is being used in an extension to the intervening walls are extra thick (old external wall). That said it's range is probably less than 10m.
