What is it?

The X10 '2 way switch' bundle has been designed to allow you to create a virtual '2 way switch' without re-wiring your lighting. Ideal for correcting those annoying wiring errors without ripping open your new plaster work.

If you have a light that you wish to switch from another location then this is the bundle for you!

How it works

The micro module is fitted behind your existing wall switch of the light you wish to control, and allows control of the lamp via X10 commands, but also still allows you to operate locally from the existing switch.

The wireless wall switch is placed on the wall in the location where you would like your second switch to be, this is battery operated and isn't hardwired to your elevtrical system. An example would be that the micromodule is fitted on your downstairs light switch and the wireless wall switch is put on the upstairs wall.

The transceiver module is plugged into a wall socket in the house, and picks up the wireless signals from the wireless wall switch. These signals are then sent on the powerline in the form of X10 messages to switch the downstairs light on and off

Uses

Perfect for replacing the traditional wired '2 way switch' type set-up. Also a good bundle for controlling of lighting in outhouses and sheds (use the X10 module in the shed and put the wireless switch inside the house by the door).

2 options are available either the LMM21 micro module with dimming for use with conventional incandescent light bulbs, which can be fitted behind a standard 2 wire switch or the AMM31 Appliance micro module which can be used with any type of light (NOTE: this switch requires a neutral feed)
