The Opus 300 (octopus) Multi-Room Entertainment System is based on A-BUS technology and commonly available Cat 5e/6 cable.
Opus 300 Multi-Room system delivers multi-zone audio throughout a home from a central location. In every room, keypads and remote controls respectively provide simple and sophisticated control over the system.
This bundle of equipment provides you with a full 4 zone Opus 300 system. This means that you can listen to a different audio source in 4 different rooms at the same time, or all the same source, or a mixture.
With the Opus 300, you have full audio control at your fingertips.

I have recently purchased and fitted the Opus 300 Audio System. The service I received from Uk Automation was first class. They we happy to talk through my needs and make suggestions. With regards to the system, it was relatively easy to fit with one exception. You are required to wire you Cat 5 cable into RJ45 plugs, so that in turn it can be plugged into the main hub. To do this you must get each colour exactly into the right pin hole. This proved very problematic. However, in the end I went and purchased some pre-wired cat 5 cable with RJ45's on, along with a connecting unit, and we were up and running in no time after that. The sound quality is excellent, and I would definitely recommend the system to others.
