NOT SUITABLE FOR ENERGY SAVING CFL BULBS
These Marmitek units are versions of the popular Marmitek LM12 Lamp Modules, but instead of plugging into the wall they come with trailing leads for connection directly to equipment.
When looking at these units, please also consider the Marmitek LD11 Din Rail Dimmer which performs a similar function.

This lamp module has the advantage of a soft start feature this gradually increases voltage to the lamp when activated thus extending the life, also stopping unecessary surges and spikes from the mains. This unit is fully dimmable and can be mounted in the celling cavity so that whilst on a dim setting no buzzing can be heard from the device as you would in a conventional wall switch mounted dimmer beware not to use this on low wattage (energy saving) lamps or LED lighting as these produce such a light load this unit will not function properly.
