This high quality plug-in device is not only a dusk to dawn photocell switch which turns on electrical appliances automatically when dusk falls, but also features a countdown timer and other benefits. Unlike other products of this kind, the unit does not need to wait until dawn before switching off a light, thereby avoiding the need for the appliance to be on all night. Further illumination of an empty building being occupied can be given by using the RANDOM mode which ensures the appliance will come on and off after dusk at random times during the selected time period, nor does the unit function only as darkness falls. The ON and OFF modes enable the user to switch an appliance on and off manually, during daytime hours if required. An ingenious device which has so many uses in so many places.
