Adrian Berry - 30/04/2010 Excellent piece of kit. No problems installing, if you follow the order of the instructions.
A couple of times the controller has "gone to sleep", and failed to keep running the macros. Still not sure what may have caused these two outages. But it continues to switch lights on at dusk matching the changing seasons. Very impressive.
Had a little trouble in setting up the X10 device house codes etc., initially, but an e-mail to Marmitek brought out a macro for achieving this (why don't they include this in the base software?).
Have not used the wireless capabilities, as I only required the macros, timers, to control the house when I am not around.

Easy to use, as it comes with a couple of built in macros to test devices with.
Has some sample macros, but lacks any information on how to build a macro!
Be careful not to plug the interface into a filtered power supply, as it will not work.

Richard Vahrman - 16/11/2009 After a few years with a rather dodgy IR light dimming system, I took the plunge (was forced to by wife) and decided to try out the x10 system. Together with a light dimming module, I had it working in minutes. So much better than before. Me happy:wife happy |
